Silicon Valley’s longest running music festival, San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival, returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez with award-winning talent to celebrate its 39th festival.
In addition to main stage artists, SJZ Boombox Truck will feature young, local bands between main stage acts. Enjoy the blues, R&B and soul traditions interpreted with a unique, modern twist.

The San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival, supported in part by a Cultural Affairs grant from the City of San José and produced by the Fountain Blues Foundation, provides a one-of-a-kind, laidback atmosphere that is perfect for all types of music fans – even the kids – 12 and under get in free with a paid adult.

About San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival
39th Year of San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival. Silicon Valley’s longest running music festival returns to downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez, Saturday, June 18th from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m., with award-winning talent to celebrate its 39th year.
Craft Beers, Wines and Ciders. In addition to world-class blues, gospel, soul, R&B and rock music, there will be varieties of regional craft beers, ciders and wine, plus the best in local barbecue, New Orleans and other southern-style foods, an artist vendor zone and interactive family-friendly activities area.
Food and More. Southern inspired food will be featured, and a vendor fair will feature vendors selling a wide range of for-sale items ranging from jewelry, hats, t-shirts, music and more.
City of San José Support. San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival is supported in part by a Cultural Affairs grant from the City of San José and produced by the Fountain Blues Foundation.
Ticket Sales. Advance general admission tickets are $20, get two for $25 (limited availability).

- No Covid-19 restrictions in place at this time, but subject to change if required by governmental authorities.
- All ticket holders will need to get their tickets scanned to obtain a wristband and have bags checked by security before entering the festival.
- There will be “in and out” privileges with all bags rechecked.
- No pets, weapons, and sharp objects.
- No outside food and beverages.
- Service dogs with proper identification are permitted.
- Children 12 and under are free with paid adult
- Low back, beach style chairs and blankets okay.
- VIP ticket holders will have a padded folding chair/seat in the shade provided by the festival (these are GA and not reserved).

In addition to the main stage artists, the SJZ Boombox Truck will feature young, local bands between main-stage acts. They represent multiple genres incorporating the blues, R&B and soul traditions, but interpreted with a unique, modern twist.
